I found myself with three new lenses, a fairly new van and a few days off. I hit the road for an overdue trip to visit my friends Reilly and Jenica. They live in Lawrence which is a pretty hip little college town. I have barely touched my 16-35mm lens. Their dog Bingo was a perfect model. Just like our house there are some leftover jack-o-lanterns on the porch, perfect targets for my new 100mm macro.
I spent an afternoon visiting the art museum and the natural history museum on the campus there. When Reilly and Jenica got off work we went to a huge dog park with Bingo. As the sunset I pulled the old silky waterfall trick.
A major part of the trip for me was going to the Alamo Draft House theatre in Kansas City. Before the movie we visited the art museum and grand central station.
