In 2003 I got to take my first photography class at The University of Tennessee. I had been shooting color film for a long time already but, having access to the darkroom added a new level of control to my photography. I could now control and manipulate the processing and printing of my photos. Additionally shooting black and white and processing it myself was much cheaper than having a roll of color film processed. I was able to be more prolific with my photography and experiment with new techniques.
