While in LA this December, me and Blair set out to see the city. We battled traffic down Rodeo Drive and cruised around until we found the La Brea Tar Pits. It is like going to a park with really cool plants and variouse tar secretions. They have a lake with statues of elephants caught in the pits and a really cool museum full of fossils. They are still digging stuff out so you can see how they do it, and how they clean and preserve the fossils. It is kind of like the lab in Jurassic Park. I had always wanted to go to the La Brea Tar Pits, I think a lot of shows I watched as a kid mentioned it, but it was way cooler than I expected.
