Last summer I went to the Fanboy Expo in Knoxville. Armed with my classic Canon FD 50mm I set out to make photos about nostalgia. I am not sure if it is the cheap adapter I use or the lens but I just love how the brights bloom and the focus drifts wildly. I just love this dreamy fading memory kind of look, perfect for snap shotty days.
This is my first photo set using Adobe Lightroom. What a great piece of software. It’s like Adobe had been looking over my shoulder the last few years studying my workflow. No more bouncing between Bridge, raw editor and Photoshop. After a quick video about Lightroom’s importing process I was off to the races. For the most part I only needed Photoshop to handle the Photomerge panorama.
